'My twin sister is a dwarf': But 5ft 1in Sierra is the one who has been looking up to brave four-foot Sienna for all their 13 years

-Baby Sienna was so small she was not spotted on scans until six months into her mother's pregnancy
-Due to a rare brain abnormality, Sienna also has the learning age of an eight-year-old

Close bond: Sienna looks up to her twin Sierra who is more than a foot taller than she is

Chrissy Bernal was six months into her pregnancy when she realised she was having twins - baby Sienna was so small that she had not been picked up on previous scans.

But it was not until six years after her birth that Sienna was diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a disorder which means she has had a smaller body size than others her age since before she was born.

Now 13-years-old, four-foot-tall Sienna can't help but look up to her sister, Sierra who measures 5ft1in. And she will look up to her twin more and more over the coming years - as Sierra is unlikely to grow any taller.

The blonde-haired, blue-eyed teens love shopping, wearing make-up and giggling about boys. But due to a rare brain abnormality Sienna also has the learning age of an eight-year-old.

Sienna said: 'Most of the time I don't really care I'm different - it actually makes me feel special.

'Sierra looks out for me and we do loads together - shopping, swimming and singing.

'She can be bossy but she shows me how to flirt with boys, stands up for me if I'm teased and reaches things when they're too high.'

The sisters were born three months prematurely, with Sienna weighing slightly more than a pound.

Doctors warned their mother, Chrissy, 34, that Sierra had just a ten per cent chance of surviving. But after 108 days in neonatal intensive care Sierra was fit enough to join her family at their home near Houston, Texas.

Surprise: Sienna, left, was only picked up on ultrasound scans six months into mother Chrissy's pregnancy because she was so small

Growing up together: The blonde-haired, blue-eyed teens love shopping, wearing make-up and giggling about boys. But due to a rare brain abnormality Sienna also has the learning age of an eight year old

It was only when she was six years old that Sienna was diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a rare form of dwarfism which affects around 200 people in the world. And Sienna is the only primordial dwarf to have an average sized twin.

Chrissy, who lives with her daughters, their step-dad Joey and his son Austin, 17, said: 'Sienna was five weeks behind in development and they said she might not survive - but I refused to believe the worst.

'I had a C-section at 34 weeks. It was terrifying, the girls were tiny and Sienna looked like an alien.

'She had a big head and her skin was see-though. We could hold her in one hand, she wore nappies that were smaller than an iPod, and we bought her dolls' clothes. But the girls' bond was immediate,'

On top of the world: Sienna has special needs classes, but attends the same school as her twin where she also has lessons in Taekwondo, hip hop dancing and cheerleading

One pound Sienna was so small that a wedding ring could fit around her arm. She immediately had surgery to correct a hole in the heart, and after overcoming chronic lung disease was allowed home.

Sienna still needs surgery to correct a curvature of the spine and the bones in her ears are so small she has to wear hearing aids.

She has special needs classes, but attends the same school as her twin where she also has lessons in Taekwondo, hip hop dancing and cheerleading. Last year the sisters both entered a beauty pageant, too.

Chrissy said: 'Sienna doesn't let it affect her - when she comes home she'll often shout, "Dwarf in the house!". Though it sometimes gets her down that she can't play volleyball like Sierra and the boys don't show as much interest in her.'

Chrissy, pictured with her daughters and their step-dad Joey says: 'Sienna doesn't let it affect her - when she comes home she'll often shout, "Dwarf in the house!"'

Sierra said: 'In a lot of ways Sienna is just me, but smaller. Like any sister,
she's annoying especially when she steals my clothes - even though my tops come down to her knees. But I'll always protect her. If she's teased at school I'll tell the bullies it's not cool.'

Chrissy, an insurance agent, added: 'As Sierra gets more independent, I worry about how Sienna will be affected - stuff like going shopping on her own just wouldn't be safe because she's so small and has a lower learning age.

'But I try to treat the girls as equals. Sienna has a real passion for life and makes everyone laugh. I'm so proud of both my girls.'

Shame Frankie's not here to appreciate that! Karissa and Kristina Shannon glisten in gold while Cocozza and Kirk hit Stringfellows

By J J Anisiobi

Leggy blondes: Karissa and Kristina Shannon wear gold mini-dresses out in London, last night

Sometimes all that glistens really is gold, and the Shannon twins were proof of that last night.

Karissa and Kristina headed out for a night of clubbing in London yesteday dressed head to toe in gold.

The 22-year-old sisters wore gold mini-dresses as they partied the night away at DSTRKT nightclub in central and had fake tans to match their dresses.

While one twin wore a sleeveless dress that showed off her chest the other twin opted for a long sleeve number with a high neck.

The Playboy models also chose to wear their hair in different styles with one flaunting her extensions down with a slight twist in them, and the other going for a simple ponytail.

The duo, who featured in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, were looking good in their complimenting outfits and some of their former housemates will be gutted that they missed seeing the pair dressed so provocatively.

Golden girls: The twin sisters had been partying at DSTRKT nightclub in central London together

One of their most avid fans was Frankie Cocozza, but he seemed to be enjoying himself in another part of town last night.

Joined by his new best mate, Kirk Norcross, the 19-year-old aspiring singer was on a boys night out at Stringfellows in Covent Garden, London.

The former X Factor star and the ex TOWIE cast member looked in good spirits as they took a cigarette break outside the table-dancing venue.

Boys on tour: Kirk Norcross and Frankie Cocozza were spotted outside Stringfellows in Covent garden, London

Kirk, 23, was sporting a Louis Vuitton satchel and a black leather jacket with jeans while Cocozza wore a white shirt and his trademark skinny trousers.

After a night of watching women seductively remove pieces of clothing Kirk and Frankie headed home at around 3am.

The former Sugar Hut nightclub manager said on Twitter: 'Had such a good time with the boys in #London tonight! Now home time and bed for me! X'

The wild ones: Kirk and Frankie have been close since leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house

Smoking break: The two former housemates popped outside to smoke a cigarette before heading back inside

Karissa and Frankie may be friends now they are out of the Big Brother house but the model threatened to take legal action against the teenager when she accused him of sexual harassment.

She said at the time: 'I'm done with Frankie's sexual harassment, he sexually harasses me every day, and I want to go home.'

The Playmate had been left disgusted by Cocozza's comments to her over the weeks in the house and they became more and more lewd.

During their time together Frankie once jokingly said: 'Girls, if you ever need it, it's there. Come and put a condom on me. Teach me how to do it.'

The colour of love: Dawn French moves away from her all-black attire in a dress adorned with bright and bold hearts

By Georgina Littlejohn

What a sweetheart: Dawn French added a splash of colour to her black dress which was adorned with lots of brightly coloured love hearts

Every women knows that black is very slimming and can hide a multitude of sins.

But ever since she lost eight stone, Dawn French has played it safe in the dark colour, even on her gorgeous slimline new frame.

But today, the comedienne added a splash of colour and proved she was a real sweetheart as she arrived for the live TV interview.

Dawn looked very cute in a black dress which had been decorated with multi-coloured love hearts all over.

She beamed for the cameras as she took her seat on the This Morning sofa for a chat with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

She spoke about her weight loss, kissing Michael Buble and working with Simon Cowell - which she said was still a mystery to her.

No more weight loss talk, please! Dawn told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she was bored with people talking about her new slimline figure

Cowell recently spoke to the Daily Mail and said he would love Dawn to host a new cookery show that he is developing.

Dawn said: 'I found out about it in the press just as you did. I know there's a show he wants to do and I am going to talk to him about it, but I haven't yet, so I don't know.'

Her leading men: Dawn laughed as she spoke about kissing Michael Buble and teaming up with Simon Cowell for a new project

Another leading man for her is Michael Buble, who she kissed on his Christmas show Home For Christmas last year.

She said: 'How lovely was that? Wouldn't you like to get that call "would you like to kiss Michael under the mistletoe"? As a job! Wow! I'd have paid him!

'We get on very well, and he said "I've always wanted to work with you and I'd like to do some comedy", so I said "if you are honest about that, I will invent something for us to do". So that's what I'm doing at the moment!'

Rock chick: Dawn looked very chic in her denim jacket and biker boots as she arrived for a radio interview

She also opened up about her weight loss, as she had already done this week to a women's magazine, and admitted that while she looked and felt better, she missed her larger self.

She said: 'I kind of do because I did like myself, I've never disliked myself in any way and the weight has nothing to do with my self esteem... so I'm used to that old body, I know how it works, I know how it moves, and I'm less used to this newer one. That's all it is really.'

The comedienne and the crooner: Dawn appeared alongside Michael Buble - and kissed him - on his festive show Home For Christmas last year

Holly asked her if she was now bored of everyone talking about her dramatic weight loss and Dawn replied: 'Yeah I do! Well I suppose I've always thought that that isn't really what mattered, and yet by losing all this weight I realise that for a lot of people that is all that matters and that's really sad.

'And I refuse to dislike the old body and you know, I may have it again you never know!'

In demand: Simon Cowell, seen here at the BGT London auditions yesterday, said he would love Dawn to front a new show he is developing

Denise Welch calls police over 'evil' online tormentor who is urging her to kill herself

By Daily Mail Reporter

Targeted: Denise Welch has called in cops after receiving a barrage of online abuse from a Twitter user who told her to slit her wrists

Worried Celebrity Big Brother winner Denise Welch has called in police after being tormented by a cyber stalker who is urging her to kill herself.

TV star Welch has been left living in fear after a nasty online bully has been targeting her on Twitter.

The 'evil' stalker has constantly berated the Loose Women presenter after she announced her marriage split earlier this week.

And she felt compelled to call in cops after the abuser went so far they urged her to 'slit her wrists' and dubbed her a 'w**re pig'.

The online abuse was obviously affecting Denise as she took to her Twitter page at 5am yesterday morning to reveal she hadn't been able to sleep as a result of the vile messages.

She wrote: 'Can’t sleep after strange day! Thank you for your loyalty and love. Makes the haters easier to deal with.'

Taking action: Denise messaged her abuser on the social networking site and warned them they have been traced by cops

And she decided to confront the abuser, who adopts the user name @allmoney1, head on by reposting all of his disturbing comments for all her followers to see.

A string of messages included: 'Hope Tim Healy gets paternity test and Denise Welch slits her wrists the disgusting w**re pig.

'Charity work my a**e. Coke up your nose and d*** up your hole more like. Hope your kids euthanise you in a yr or two.’'

Tactic: Denise insists she's made of stern stuff and will be fine but opted to repost the vile messages for her Twitter fans to see

And he also posted messages to Reservoir Dogs star Michael Madsen, who famously fell out with Denise in the CBB house.

The unknown user wrote to the actor: 'You should have won man. Your a legend. Denise Welch is mental.

'So glad all the s**t on Denise Welch has hit the papers. What a scummy bully s**g.

'So disgusting the carry on of Denise Welch on Loose Women and her pride in affairs and drunken behaviour. She’s no role model.

'Michael Madsen, you’re a gentle man sir. You should have won. That Denise is human waste.'

Tough Times: The soap star appeared on Loose Women on Monday to announce she's split from her husband of 23 years, Tim Healy

Young lover: Denise says she did not have an affair with party planner Lincoln Townley as she had been single for some time

The 54-year-old soap star has now sent a message back to the vile abuser warning him that she is taking action over the worrying insults.

She added in a personal plea to the Twitter user: 'Please stop being horrible to people you don’t know. You’ll be much happier.

'By the way, my work have reported you to the police and they’ve traced you.
'Have a good day.'

The actress went on Loose Women on Monday to announce she had separated from her husband of 23 years, Tim Healy following allegations in the press about her having an affair.

In the past: Only two weeks ago Denise and Tim put on a public display of affection but vile messages have hurt the TV star

Good-time girl: Denise strips down to her underwear as she parties with husband Tim and friends at a party after her Celebrity Big Brother win

And she's faced the barrage of torments ever since.

Speaking to the Daily Star about the abuse, she reveals the outpouring of love from her fans has helped her get through the criticism.

She tells the newspaper: 'With all of the amazing response from the public, and especially on Twitter, it’s a shame that just a few horrible and evil faceless tweeters will get extra publicity for writing such vile things.

'I’m made of stern stuff so I’ll be fine.

'I don’t normally respond but I just felt they needed putting in their place.'

The way we were: Tim and Denise on their wedding day in 1988 at Haringey registry office

And bosses at her ITV show Loose Women have revealed they are aware of the 'simply vile abuse'.

A Loose Women source said: 'Denise has seemed tired and emotional all week so it is best for her to spend time with her family and have a break from it all. She has a big year ahead career-wise.'

The actress now plans to take a short break before heading back to the theatre to star in a production of Steel Magnolias.

She's getting braver! Beyonce showcases her post-baby curves for second night in a row... this time in sexy skintight sequins

By Amelia Proud

Black magic: Beyonce poured her curves into an adventurously sexy dress to attend Jay-Z's Carnegie Hall concert tonight

The moment when you climb back into your heels, slip into a fitted gown and make up your face for the first time after giving birth is a daunting prospect for any new mother.

All the more piquant, of course, if it's not just your peers but the whole world waiting to gauge how you're bearing up (and more importantly how you look) after the emotional process.

Last night, Beyonce showcased her post-baby curves in a red Alice Temperley cocktail dress which was undeniably striking yet a deceptively safe choice.

Bolder and bolder: The red dress was a hit so Beyonce tried a racier look tonight, and guess what? She pulled that off too

The colour was bold but the fabric and style were forgiving, and more importantly, simple.

It was a wise move as the 30-year-old looked picture perfect for the first night of her husband Jay-Z's two legged occupation of New York's Carnegie Hall.

And this triumph obviously emboldened the mother of little Blue Ivy, born only on January 7, as tonight the superstar went a step further by climbing into a more overtly sexy - and starry - little number.

The gown, by bridal favourite Monique Lhuillier, was skintight and sprinkled with sequins that dotted across the frock's sweetheart neckline and up across the nude netting atop the singer's cleavage.

Ivanka Trump is back to her pre-pregnancy slenderness six months after giving birth to her first child

Keeping it simple: Ivanka's look was elegant and time-tested by women everywhere

Netting is popular this season, and allows a sexy dress to ooze that Jessica Rabbit va-va-voom while affording the wearer a modest elegance.

It's perfect for creating that paradox of flaunting and covering up, all at once.

Not that Beyonce needs to hide her figure, the skintight dress would betray the slightest lump or bump, with the sequins amplifying their pesky existence - and nothing showed.

Hell for leather: But Nicky's outfit was pure heaven in all aspects

Brightening the place up: Models Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova steered clear of black in their eye-catching outfits

Fans: Singer Josh Groban and actor Peter Sarsgaard were lucky enough to be in the crowd

She accessorised the look with Gucci shoes, a Chanel purse, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and the bounciest of celebrity curls.

If last night was about testing the water, tonight she jumped straight back in.

It's been just six months since Ivanka Trump gave birth to her first child, Arabella Rose, and she's back to her pre-pregnancy slenderness.

Like Beyonce, the 30-year-old radiates the glow of motherhood from every pore.

Celebration: Nick Cannon was joined by New York Giants star Victor Cruz, who was fresh from the Super Bowl ceremony

Let the victory parade continue: Giants stars Chris Canty and Ahmad Bradshaw were along to party, too

The multi-millionaire also chose black for her dress tonight, but opted for the kind of classic LBD that's not just for celebrities, but a friend to any new mother.

She opted for luxurious accessories to complement the obsidian column; with matching cut-glass necklace and bracelet and an elegant mock croc clutch.

Nicky Hilton, 28 , also joined the ebony angels by daring to squeeze into leather trousers that looked fabulous with a star-emblazoned sweater and Louboutin's patent Pigalle heels.

Host with the most: Jay-Z looked as fetching as his wife in this white blazer as he entertained the crowd

Men in black: Jay greets Nas on stage as they prepare to duet

Empire State of Mind: Jay and Alicia Keys sing their famous tune

Models Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova provided a little diversion from the gothic hue in a yellow dress and red wool and leather creation, respectively.

Also scrubbing up well for the evening were New York Giants stars, fresh from their victory ceremony at City Hall.

Victor Cruz, Chris Canty and Ahmad Bradshaw all chatted happily to Nick Cannon as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.
